We reproduce oureselves the colors, from this great internationally recognize standards (RAL, NCS, Farrow & Ball) in order that even if you live far from us, you can easily find some sample next to you, like in a painting shop.
            You always determine the cabinet width, depth and height of the cabinet yourself. Up to a height of 294 cm, we manufacture your cabinet without a surcharge! We recommend planning the closet to the ceiling so that you can use as much space as possible. You also achieve the best effect if the cabinet surface is closed to the top.

  What is the design of this cabinet?
The doors extend across almost the entire cabinet height. This creates a homogeneous and elegant appearance. We offer the surfaces with a matt or high-gloss finish. The style of the cabinet interior is ivory with a wood structure (see photo). Original Italian design with production in central Italy. 

Outstanding quality and a great price-performance ratio
Convince yourself of the quality of this custom cabinet. The melamine coating is also painted on all parts of the front (doors and side panels): such a paint is rarely offered. The wall units have a thickness of 25 mm, the shelves even 35 mm. So the cabinet can carry heavy things with ease! The shelves are fixed, so they cannot slip and give the cabinet additional stability. We do NOT use simple edging, but high quality ABS edging.              Please note : Since these are individualized products, a right of withdrawal is excluded for all parts made to order (color, height, depth according to measure).

FAQ

Can I get the sample of the wardrobe?

Take a look at our example videos which gives you a very good impression of the quality and colour of our cupboards. However if you still need to have a sample of the structure (melamined – ivory colour), we can send you one of dimension: 10 cm x 7 cm, for a processing fee of 15 € (including shipping costs). Regarding the lacquered doors colour, we can send you the sample of dimension: 20 cm x 20 cm for the processing fee of 45 € (including shipping costs). Please write us the email at info@idaw.eu for this request with the address where the sample must be sent. You will receive then the PayPall link for the payment. The production of the sample and the delivery will take 2-4 weeks.

How wide are the wardrobe side panels – the structure?

The terminal wardrobe sides as also the side panels of our wardrobes are 25 mm thick.

 

Are the cabinet doors included in the cabinet depth (e.g. 61 cm)?

Yes, they are. The door thickness of 18 mm is always included in the cabinet depth.

 

Can I really order the wardrobe in any colour?

Yes, you can. Choose a colour or simply enter the desired RAL colour code in the place provided below. You can view a RAL colour palette in furniture stores and hardware stores – or simply order them online.

Attention: additional information regarding colours from Farrow and Ball, RAL, NCS, etc…

We reproduce these colours starting from the colour cards of these international manufacturers. As for the Farrow and Ball finish, we do not offer the alternatives proposed by Farrow and Ball, but our finishes (matte or glossy). We also remind you that the paint must be different depending on the surface on which it is applied and the method used. In addition, the colour rendering depends highly on the light in the room and how it reflects on the different surfaces. For this reason, if you are considering ordering a wardrobe of the same Farrow and Ball, RAL or NCS (or others) colour as the wall, please note that the two colours will never be perfectly identical, but very similar. A tip to take into consideration: sometimes choosing a different colour that matches the wall is the most beautiful solution!

 

Are there any front drawers?

Unfortunately not, but there is the possibility to have drawers inside the wardrobe: we offer double and triple drawer modules. Take a look at our accessories!

 

I would like to order a wardrobe, in a different colour as shown from the list e.g. Farrow & Ball or NCS Colours.

In the configuration we show RAL colour examples. To answer our customer need we created an option and possibility to choose the other colours like Farrow & Ball or NCS colours. Just click on the box with the colour fan and write in the field, which will open, your chosen colour. However in our offer you can find some NCS or Farrow & Ball most requested ordered colours.

 

Is the interior available only in ivory or also other colours?

The interior of the wardrobe is only available in the melamined, ivory-colored version.

 

Are the mirror doors also available in a grey tinted mirror?

Yes, they are. The mirror doors can be also ordered in a grey tinted mirror. These cost 100€ more per door than the standard mirror doors. Please select the regular mirrored doors and note your request in the comment field. To pay the difference, select the bank transfer for the entire order – or if chosen other payment, the additional amount must be payed by the bank transfer.

 

Is there also a possibility of ordering the closing panel for above the wardrobe?

Yes, there is. However, we recommend for optical reasons, to plan the cabinet up to 1 cm below the ceiling and leave this minimal gap open. Anyone wishing to close this narrow gap can use the joint sealer available in every hardware store, preferably in white or the ceiling color.

Attention for the fitted wardrobes it is possible to order either a custom-made wardrobe in height leaving 1 cm of tolerance in height, or a wardrobe with a panel above it if you want to leave a greater tolerance.

Can I order additional panels in the same colour as wardrobe (or other colour) e.g. to close up the wardrobe?

Of course, it is possible to order panels of the same finish as the wardrobe by adding the item from the configurator. Attention: it is not possible to place bands on top of a sliding wardrobe. 

Can I also order a cabinet with only a few mirror doors?

With a cabinet height of up to 262 cm you can either have all or only a few mirrors made. You can select individual mirrored doors by first selecting the door handle model for the other doors. Then you will find the input field for the mirror doors in the configuration with the wording: “If you only want individual mirror doors, click here and enter the number and position.”

 

Can an order already placed be changed or supplemented?

If we have not yet passed the order on to production, a change or addition is usually still possible. Please contact us as soon as possible. If we have already started to produce, a change is no longer possible, but an addition may still be possible.

 

Can I buy additional clothes rails?

We supply two clothes rails and one shelf per wardrobe module, but if you need more, you can buy more clothes rails on request. Write us in the comments field.

 

Will the drawer module be delivered with top and bottom or do I have to order it as an accessory?

We always deliver the drawer module completely, that means, that we provide a shelf for closing up. You place the module drawer on the cabinet base. However, if you want to mount it further up, you have to order one shelf from the accessories, on which you can install the drawer module at the position you want.

 

What are the inside dimensions of the drawers?

The internal drawer dimensions for the 89 cm wide modules (with a cabinet depth of 61 cm) are: internal width approx. 72 cm, depth approx. 42.5 cm, height approx. 9.5 cm or front drawer approx. 12 , 8 cm.

The inner dimensions of the 96 cm wide modules are approx. 79 cm x approx. 42.5 cm x approx. 9.5 or approx. 12.8 cm.

The internal dimensions of the 103 cm wide modules are: approx. 86 cm x approx. 42.5 cm x approx. 9.5 or approx. 12.8 cm.

For a narrow cabinet module with a width of 43.2 cm, the inside dimensions of the drawer are: approx. 26.2 cm x approx. 42.5 cm x approx. 9.5 or approx. 12.8 cm.

For a narrow cabinet module with a width of 50.1 cm, the inside dimensions of the drawer are: approx. 33.1 cm x approx. 42.5 cm x approx. 9.5 or approx. 12.8 cm.

 

What is the usable area of the pull-out shelves?

The internal dimensions of the pull-out shelves for an 89 cm module are: width approx. 79.6 cm, depth approx. 46.9 cm

The internal dimensions of the pull-out shelves for a 96 cm module are: width approx. 86.6 cm, depth approx. 46.9 cm

The internal dimensions of the pull-out shelves for a 103 cm module are: width approx. 93.6 cm, depth approx. 46.9 cm

For a narrow cabinet module with a width of 43.2 cm, the inside dimensions of the drawer are: width approx. 33.8 cm x depth approx. 46.9 cm

For a narrow cabinet module with a width of 50.1 cm, the inside dimensions of the drawer are: width approx. 40.7 cm x depth approx. 46.9 cm

 

What to do if the vertical led doesn’t work?

If the LED sensor seems to detect the door opening incorrectly, please follow this procedure:

1. Make sure all the wardrobe doors are closed properly.
2. Remove the electricity in the house from the electric generator.
3. Turn on the electric generator again after 1 minute.

Once the electrical current has been removed from the general, the LED sensor resets. When the electricity is turned on again, the sensor records the distance between the sensor itself and the first obstacle present on it way (in this case the wardrobe door). By recording this information, the sensor will turn on or off according to the movement of the wardrobe door: light on with open door, light off with closed door. With this reset procedure, the LED bar should work again.

If the problem is not solved, check that the photocell sensor is positioned correctly: the sensor must be free from any obstacle and slightly inclined with respect to the door. If the sensor is not positioned correctly, it will be necessary to remove the LED bar from the milling groove and position the sensor correctly, by opening the LED cover. In case the LED bar continues to not work correctly, we ask you to send us a short video showing the opening of the door with the sensor malfunction. We also ask you to make a video of the sensor (positioned in the upper part of the LED bar), in order to verify that its position is correct.

 

Should the skirting boards has to be removed?

Not necessarily: the side closing panels which goes on the left and right side of the wardrobe are painted in the color of the door and mounted at the door level. These closing panels can be adapted to skirting boards. However without them, the structure of fitted wardrobe is slightly easier to build, because you do not need to cut the dimensions of the skirting boards from the panels. The space available with or without skirting boards does not significantly affect.

 

Is the building up or the transport up to the apartment included in the price?

In the price it is included the delivery “on the street” to the point of use. This means that there are no additional delivery costs, so delivery is free of charge. However, the driver of the truck is not obliged to carry the delivery into the house or in the apartment. Since our cabinets are robust and heavy versions, two physically fit people should accept the delivery and bring it into the house or appartement. Only Switzerland has delivery to the apartment with installation.

 

What to consider when installing the leveling feet on the fitted wardrobe?

The last side panel of the wardrobe on the right side has the pre-drilled holes for the feets but at the point that would only allow the feet to be fitted outside the cupboard. Therefore the pilot holes have to be changed. To do this, enlarge the existing pilot hole with a 9 mm drill head – so that it can also be reached from the “inside direction” – and fix the feet on the left and towards the inside of the wardrobe.

How does the normal delivery process work?

In the week before delivery, you receive a reminder about the planned delivery week with the contacts of the transport company. At the beginning of the delivery week, you receive an additional email or a phone call directly from the transporter regarding the delivery date. In any case, our carrier will contact you 12-24 hours before the delivery to allow you to set you up.

 

Can I set a fixed date for delivery when ordering?

Unfortunately not. Our deliveries require a certain flexibility and an agreed time window. Contact us by email to clarify other options.

How can I change the end profil?

The end profil is a slight side panel that covers the visible front end of the wardrobe side. Changing an end profil is quite easy, and you can easily do it yourself too. But remember that you should wear gloves as a safety precaution. After you have lain the wardrobe side panel on a work table, tap gently on one of the extremities of the end profil. Now remove it delicately and carefully. It will come off as one entire piece, and the lacquered finish will not be damaged or ruined.

How can I remove an interior mirror from a wardrobe door?

Before you begin to remove the mirror, remember that you should wear gloves as a safety precaution and put a piece of cloth underneath the door. The forst thing you have to do is to cover the whole mirror with adhesive tape in order to avoid further damages on the mirror. Then use a small tool (a plastic plaster would be perfect!) in order to pass between the mirror and the door and to lift the mirror up a little. Now start to peel it off slowly, safely and in one piece.

How can I change a dust seal?

Changing a dust seal from a wardrobe door (for two people, it is a matter of few minutes):

• Check that the lenght of the substitutive dust seal is the same of the older one. In case the new dust seal is too long, shorten it accordingly. If it corresponds to the lenght of the older one, proceed as follows:
• Lay the door on the floor; it is better to lay it on a piece of cloth, so that the lacquered finish of the door will not be scratched.
• Mark the begining and the end of the older dust seal with a pencil, while it is still fixed on the door. If the new dust seal is not asseambled correctly, there is the risk that the door will not open.
• Start to gently remove the dust seal from the door a bit at a time, until you peel it off entirely in one piece; this whole passage has to be done while you lift the staples up.
• Now unroll the new dust seal and place it so that it sets on its proper place along the external edge.
• Before you fix the dust seal, check the dimensions of the screws we sent you: they should not be longer than the thickness of the door.
• Place the screws on the inner side of the door and over the dust seal (the screws should distance 10-15 cm from one another); screw the dust seal gently to the wooden pannel of the door.
• After that, clip the dust seal, beginnig either from the top or the bottom, until it is completely attached to the door (you should hear a „click“).
• Finally, reasseamble the door to the wardrobe.

What is the difference between a fitted wardrobe and a free-standing wardrobe?

A freestanding wardrobe does not need a niche, but is – as the name implies – free, behind the back is a wall. Not only we deliver lacquered doors but also lacquered side panels.

In which widths are there available wardrobes?

We can deliver the cabinet from 48 cm in all widths. In the configurator you can choose from different widths or specify the exact niche width. If you also want special dimensions, please contact us by e-mail to cristina@idaw.eu.

What should I choose when the wardrobe is in the corner?

In this case, the freestanding wardrobe is a good solution. You just push him into the corner. Upon request, we can also provide a mixed solution of free-standing wardrobe and fitted wardrobe. The free/visible cupboard side panel is then lacquered and the side in the corner receives a closing panel. If you want this solution, please click here.

What should I choose if the wardrobe need to be as a room divider?

In this case you need a freestanding wardrobe and additionally a lacquered panel behind it. Just contact us by e-mail at cristina@idaw.eu.

Are there also corner wardrobes?

Yes. Corner cupboards are ideal if there is enough space. This is usually the case from 2 meters per wall unit. We offer different solutions in the design of our fitted or freestanding wardrobes. To configure your corner wardrobe, please click here.

Is there a mix of walk-in wardrobe with doors?

Yes, that does indeed exist: with the glass door cupboard “Open”. We offer a solution which, on the one hand, takes up many advantages of the walk-in wardrobe. Thanks to glass doors and side panels the daylight can pass through the entire storage space and create an open, non-constricting room image, while integrating the benefits of doors in this cupboard system.

How do I order a mix of fitted wardrobe and freestanding wardrobe?

For the configuration select a fitted wardrobe, one side is attached to the wall (e.g. in the “half-niche”). Write a simple comment in the comments field of the order with the information, which side must be lacquered, and which side as a fitted wardrobe (the side cover panel will be provided) is to be produced. The price does not change.
